Wow, what a weekend! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen so many of us play so hard all at once!

We rolled in to Bear Claw with the largest force in camp — 82 players strong, ages 11-60 — and with a thunderous bang on Saturday we started a rampage that didn’t stop until Sunday afternoon. Our blood, sweat, and tears went into this game and it definitely showed. The scores varied up and down all day and night, but the game ended today with the Germans scoring 3000 points and the Americans winning the game by a mere 400 points.

Now, don’t mistake this for a loss! Every single one of you guys did an outstanding job staying on that field, running missions, and shooting Americans. We screamed till our voices got sore. We ran till our legs couldn’t take it and then we ran some more. As far as I’m concerned, we showed the red team where they could stick their points!

Not to mention that we came home with a a nice handfull of awards:

  • Most Valuable Team: Nitro Paintball
  • Most Valuable Player: Phil Clark
  • Most Valuable Player: Michael Matuson
  • General’s Special Service Award: Mario Maresco

And let’s not forget all the cool shwag we won in the drawings!

  • Pinokio Hopper System: Jeremy Miller, Glenn George
  • q-loader Hopper System: Michael Matuson
  • St!ffi Barrel Gift Certificate: Phil Clark
  • Save Phace Tactical Mask: Brian Batterton
  • Pod packs: Josh Miller, Bobby Geiken
  • Tactical Vest: Devon Stone
  • Free Scenario Entry: Bob Batterton

If you couldn’t make this game, consider this your formal invitation to our next trip to Bear Claw in February. If you’re still not sure if scenario paintball is for you, ask some of the guys that came out with us this trip. We brought a lot of first-time scenario ‘ballers and I think they had the most fun out of all of us!

On behalf of the whole Nitro family, thank you guys and girls for coming out and representing our field. You made us proud.

Nick, this comment thing is awesome.

But anyway, this weekend was great. Seeing everybody was great and reminded why I miss Nitro so much.
