Banned Paints

As of September 1, 2010, we will be enforcing a paint ban list. This ban list will be updated as needed.

Why?

The biggest issue is chemical in nature. Many of these products gum up and stain our equipment, clothing, and bunkers. We, like most of you guys, like to have clean stuff.

Some of the listed paintballs (Monsterball in particular) are of such poor quality that they literally will not break if you jump on them. This is not only a safety hazard, but also kinda defeats the purpose of the sport.

The best place to get fresh, high-quality paint is right here at Nitro. Our paint is delivered weekly and is checked for broken balls before it goes into your hands. Not to mention that our prices are usually more competitive than other suppliers, especially when you use our coupons! Support your home field!

The List

The ban list is as follows:

  • Impact
  • Recon
  • All Star
  • Zap
  • Monsterball
  • Stryker
  • Big Ball
  • Blue Streak
  • Inertia
  • Demon
  • Freedom
  • Whack

In addition to this list, we do not allow the following brands of paint:

  • Brass Eagle
  • Viewloader
  • Zap
  • JT
  • Wal-Mart

Finally, we do not allow paint with a red fill. It’s also a good rule of thumb to consider anything that comes in a plastic container (like a bucket or a jug) as junk paint that is included on this list.
