Nitro’s first NCPA tournament was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who participated and made the event a blast!

Special thanks go to Tim Tiner and his excellent reffing staff, Spencer Lloyd and the KSU Owls paintball team for keeping us fed, and, of course, Mario Maresco and Helene Maresco for prepping the field and handling the logistics and making all of this possible!

One more shout out to the guys from 5×5 who helped out with everything rec ball today. Thanks guys!

Please keep in mind we require new waivers for all players. You can download our waiver and bring it next time you play, or simply fill one out at the field.

Banned Paint

Effective September 1, 2010, we will not allow certain brands of paint to be shot at our field. This list includes Wal-Mart brands such as Impact, Monsterball, and Recon as well as JT, Zap, Freedom, and others. Please see our Banned Paints List for all related information.

Almost all of the products listed are low-quality paints that have a tendency to stain bunkers and clothing and even moreso, not break when you shoot them. Trust us, you’re not missing anything!

Our field paint is quite modestly priced (usually cheaper than other suppliers) and is delivered fresh every week. Combined with a coupon from our Deals and Specials page, there’s no reason to get your paint anywhere else! Support your local field!

Moustache Day Results

First off, thank you to everyone who participated. The ridiculousness of moustache paintball is unparalleled.

The winner of moustache day was tough to decide. Drake had a pretty fantastic German accent, but Mrs. Deen took the cake when she showed up with Emmet to check in. Congratulations Mrs. Deen, for having the best moustache!

We do have plenty of moustaches left over (a stache of ‘staches if you will ) and will be selling them at the window.

Moustache Day update

Hey guys! Due to a shipping error, I have to pick up some moustaches at a local store. Unfortunately they’re a bit more expensive, so we will actually be selling them for $2. Not a huge difference, but I didn’t want it to be a surprise.

Additionally, I think that the best way to handle the ‘staches is to wear them on top of our masks. I don’t want anyone to have trouble/itchiness/fog and be tempted to remove the mask while we play. I’ll bring some glue (nothing Krazy [haha, get it??], just Elmer’s) so we can be sure they stick around.

May 30: Moustache Day

May 30th will be Nitro Paintball’s first Moustache Day.

Rules for Moustache day:

Wear a moustache.
Talk about how classy we all look.

Moustaches may be grown, stickied, and/or strapped to your head.

The best moustache of the day will receive a case of Spectrum. Moustaches will be judged by the refs on a criteria to be determined later. Beards will not be taken into consideration for the judging.

Nitro will have a limited supply of fake moustaches for those without the means to own one. We will be selling them for $1 $2.
